odd question for discussion…

So I was having a discussion with blackfishnets and an interesting (at least I think so) question came out. What would you want to look like if you were of the opposite gender than you currently are? And is this the kind of man/woman you find attractive currently or not? If not, why would you pick a look that you are not personally in to?

Well, I am currently wearing a pair of pants that used to be Jill’s. (I’ve got shirts of hers too. Well, at least one.) So, perhaps that answers your question for me.

HA! This is funny, because what I thought when I read mav’s post is, “I wanna look like .” Except I thought “swixxy,” because that’s what your name sounds like when I think to myself. Hm. Maybe slightly taller though. Like, I’d like to keep my own height. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. It’s only, like, an inch.

Possibly at exactly the moment you were posting this, I was having a dream about… shoe-shopping. Yes, I was looking for big thick shoes, like boots or docs, with big thick soles. So, in my dream, apparently I also wanted an extra inch 😉 Or maybe just a pair of shoes to stomp with.

        Anyway, I’m flattered 🙂

For me it’s swixx-I-Y with the last 2 letters pronounced as letters. But I’m probably moving toward swixxy, it used to be swee-66-I-Y.

Well, that’s our swix. He has to be a rebel with the only unpronouncable name on my friends list.

That is a hard question, because I don’t know what the female anatomy would to to my balance and agility. It’s not just the body’s appearance, it’s what you can do with it. I tend to be very attracted to how people move. If I were the opposite gender I’d want a dancer’s body, and that is a type I am attracted to.

Did I ever tell you my breeding plan? I use this to scare away older relatives who ask me why I am not married. I tell them that I am looking for a mate based on the offspring we ouwld produce, and that I want to reinforce my traits of intelligence, agility, and good looks, with endurance as a secondary characteristic.

I say I want a brood of little angel faced genious ninjas.

Then they stop asking me when I’m getting married 🙂

A short, petite, hot little redhead. Duh 😉

I’d probably want to be average height and build, but still, basically, look like me – same color hair and eyes, same general cast of features.

And no, I’m not generally attracted to that type, but I think I’d feel uncomfortable looking like the type I am attracted to – they don’t look anything like my family.

heh, I still havn’t figured out what type of girl I want to look like!

Being somewhat grounded in reality (and assuming I’d still be me… with a few changes), I imagine I’d be tall and lanky with my same coloring. If my father is any indication, the only really stand out feature would be the extreme skinniness… until the moon-pies caught up with me (assuming I’d want to eat moon pies).

So, tall and lanky with brown hair and blue eyes… oh dear… sound like anyone we know?

Well… I probably wouldn’t dress as well as he does…
