on stereotypes that should be true…

jeremiahblatz and I have often commented that the correct way to order from International Male isn’t to use the web. The IM website sucks. What you’re supposed to do is go to the website or look in the catalog and find everything you like and then you call the number and talk to the nice helpful gay gentleman on the other side of the line. This is the way its supposed to be. This is the way God intended it. IM is supposed to be a company by gay men for gay men… Ok, maybe I’m not actually gay, but I think I do a damn fine job pretending, and really, I’m worth the benefit of the doubt. But today, I attempted to order clothing and I was surprised to find a woman on the other end of the line… a WOMAN!!! And she wasn’t even a fag hag. She was some straight girl who seemed to know nothing at all about the clothing or even how to work the ordering system. It was like she had never taken an order before and didn’t know what was in the catalog. It was horrible. Where, O where is my helpful gay man? Where is the effeminate sounding Adonis with washboard abs and an ass you could bounce a quarter off of? Why!?! Why have you forsaken me?

Ugh… its enough to make a guy start dressing like he’s straight…

    To think!

And in this economy, too! I mean, what, all the gay men have jobs as hairstylists, actors and professional shoppers? I think not! IM could have the pick of the lisping litter, and you get a non-clothes-horse chick?

I am scandalized. Is nothing sacred?

      Dude… I know… I mean, I would have settled for Johnny Depp.

They probably outsourced the job to a woman in India because they couldn’t afford an American gay man.

couldn’t they have found a struggling gay man in Australia or something? Sheesh!

Well, you could use Amazon… which is sort of vaguely lesbian sounding. Or something.

yeah, I guess… but I’m like an Advantage Gold club member and stuff, so I really prefer to go through IM directly to get the free express shipping. Plus you actually do get slightly better deals. Besides, Amazons are scary. They’re like Wonder Woman and stuff… They could kick my assk. Now if the place was called Tatu.com or BoredBustyCoedNymphettesInLingerieWithLegsUpToHereSuckingLollipopsAndSensuouslyExploringEachOthersSuppleBodiesWhileEagerlyWaitingJustForMavToShowThemTheWaysPhysicalLove.com then I might not be able to resist. Sorry… but I can only go so far with the gay gimmick.

This is terrible. But it’s not as bad as realizing that all the nice gay guys got snapped up by International Male and thereby left Victoria’s Secret…those were the days, when I could call up and tell a nice man my underwear sizes…
