I only play the lottery on a day that someone I know is getting married. I only do so because the first time I ever played the lottery, my cousin was getting married. I bought the ticket between the actual wedding and the reception. I won $100. I’ve played the lottery every time someone I know has gotten married since. It hasn’t worked again.
In my experience, fortune cookies are bastards. I trust only my magic 8-ball.
I guess it’s a good thing I came to work today…sigh
