Hmm, I don’t like this sport that much, but I have to recognize that the pic is very impressive.

    Good: speed shooting and subject!
Bad: the shadow of the rope on the subject!

    Average: good shot!

WOW i’ll bet you wet yourself when you saw what a great shot you took. i’m wondering if the horizon line were changed a tad it might make it more dramatic-may not – hard to say. i like that the men are in a different color plan than the rest of the shot too. .

Caugh in action.Lovely shot because it’s in action but not eye catching because other than the subject itself nothing is intresting.I know it’s hard to capture everything right but that’s waht intresting shots are about!!

great capture, great moment (and the face of the man on the top great) but with the flash it’s too bad for the coulour and the shadow…

Creativity: Great shot; you couldn’t have changed a whole lot creatively.

Composition: The bar blocks part of the shot, but I love how you captured both the faces.

Colours: I think the colors are fine, nice and bright. Too bad about the shadow, but you couldn’t really help that.

Capture: Great mid-air capture, and I love the expressions on both of the men. You really got a good action shot here.

  35. November 29, 2006 at 11:05 pm

Fantastic timing as already been mentioned. Where was this taking place?

  36. November 29, 2006 at 11:52 pm

@JP: it was at a wrestling show in Pittsburgh. When I first got involved in training to be a wrestler, I used to serve as ringside photographer. That was one of the best shots I ever took.

  37. December 22, 2006 at 10:27 am

incredible timing looks like its about to be painful

  38. December 29, 2006 at 3:59 pm

That is a great action shot where the moment is the most important thing.
It could be better with an out of focus background but I understand that is was difficult at that moment.
