Day 9 of 365 days. Did some shopping, had a BBQ, went to Hooters to watch a WWE wrestling PPV with some wrestler friends. When it all comes down to it, the simple truth is that I’m not going to be able to finish this project if I expect to go out of my way to be super-creative and all photoshop crazy with every single shot. I just don’t have the time, and some days I just don’t have the gumption. And if I let myself believe that I have to do that, I’m going to miss some days. So instead on some days I’m going to have to settle for just a nice casual candid shot and maybe try to make up for it by also including four girls with nice racks.
You’ll notice that I am tilted slightly to the side. This isn’t me trying to get closer to Kat (the hottie brunette waitress who made a habit of rubbing my leg every time she came to our table… I love flirty waitresses), its because I also burnt the bottom of my foot earlier in the day when I stepped ona stray hot coal while BBQing. Sadly I did not have a camera ready to capture the shot of me jumping up and down in excruciating pain. Sometimes I think I should just have auto cameras filming my entire house all the time. Chris Maverick: The Reality Show.
Other notes: The lighting in Hooters was positively awful, and I didn’t really care enough to recalibrate my camera. A mistake it turns out since the color balance and contrast on the shot really sucked. So I ended up spending 30 min on it in Photoshop when i got home anyway just to make it THIS presentable. sigh I’ll definitely try to do something nicer tomorrow.

Nice Chris! The girls looks very happy! hahahahah :*
yep… I like to pretend its me and not just that they’re paid to look like that. 🙂
well, you have a shirt on today! sorry about your foot…sucks! as for the lighting, well, i think it’s great for a foto from Hooters…don’t think you should touch it up at all!
actually, I guess that wasn’t clear. This IS the touched up photo. The original is so red and dark I’m barely recognizable.
HA!! There is only one girl in that shot that even has any hooters!! lmao…fun shot though!
@shannonbb: hehehe… well, its actually named hooters because of the owl mascot or something… uh yeah, whatever. I wasn’t complaining. 🙂
This was the Founder’s Day SP that I wanted to do. I may still try to do this shot one day. LOL
@Jim Lamb aka Travelinjim: hah… Can’t wait til you do.
