Batgirl Redesigned…

Better late than never. I had been meaning to do the Batgirl Meme. Ever since I first found out about it way back in January, but I never got around to it because I was lame. Finally decided to throw it together last night and did a quick costume design and then went to work starting this. Did some quick sketches for this in non-repro blue and then did the entire inking job in illustrator(never tried that before) and coloring in photoshop. Not only are my penciling skills suffering from atrophy, but My lack of familiarity with digital inking made it hard. But I learned a lot. So maybe I’ll do another one sooner rather than later.

Will post it to my blog as soon as I get a chance to write up the little rant on modern superheroes that’s been ruminating in my head since I started this.
