Day 33 of 365 days.
And for the sixth day of me Bringing Back the Sexy. Ok, here’s how addicted I am to this project. This is how my day went this morning: Thought of an idea late last night (2am). Didn’t feel like setting it up before I went to bed. Steph wakes me up in the morning. Oh, no I’ve overslept. I’m going to be late for work. But wait… I have to take my photo still. Ok, Better set up the tripod in here before I take my shower. Get out of the shower, shave, all that good stuff, come back in my bedroom to get dressed and realize I’m running REALLY late now, but I still have to get that shot. Initially I was going for "sexy getting dressed in silhouette" but I kind of like the rushed feel to this one. Because… you know… I was rushing and stuff. If you look closely, you can see that I hadn’t even bothered to dry my hair.

I have been wanting to do some silhouette shots against the same kind of blinds but have not had then work out yet. Will have to try again…you’ve inspired me!

Ok…I have seen this photo in 3 groups I am! I love the idea of this photo but I think it is a little hard to tell where you are in the dressing process. For some reason I really feel I need to know that more…just a thought! Great job though and very creative.

Creativity: Can’t argue this one. I love the idea for this photo, and the dedication with which you pursued it is certainly admirable!
Composition: I love the silhouettes, but some of them (the main and the bottom one, to me) seem to kind of obscure themselves. I know it’s probably supposed to be a sort of posed-but-candid thing, but I’d like ot see more of what’s going on. I couldn’t really tell you were rushing, for instance (if that makes sense).
Colours: I think black and white was a great choice for colors here. Like I said, I just would’ve liked to see more detail in some. Maybe you could do it by using shadows? (I know, it was supposed to be silhouettes. Just a personal preference. I’m kind of a detail addict.)
Capture: I wouldn’t have appreciated this one nearly as much without your story to go with it, but it is a great idea.

Wonderful creativity here and thanks for the explanations! The composition is also perfect and the capture is great. About the colors I think it’s a bit too dark even if it’s the purpose is to make a silhouette.
