I had been wondering what would happen if I ever took a really awful picture for this project. Would I post it? I guess so. I really didn’t have anything else to use.
I had a wrestling show today in Ohio. I had this great idea that I would take a picture of myself on the state line on my way back. Only by the time I got there it was extremely dark, even with my headlights on high beams and shining towards myself and the sign, also it was raining and I didn’t really want to be out in the dark, on the side of the highway, in the rain with semis rushing by at 70mph trying to fiddle with my lens, so I just took 5 shots and called it a night. This was the best of them. Which is saying a lot, seeing as how its an absolutely awful picture. I look like death, and somehow I have a double chin, which never happens. And I didn’t even manage to get a wide enough DoF for the "Welcome to Pennsylvania" sign to be in focus. Also this is a good time to point out that I pretty much never shave before I go to a wrestling show. You see, I’m a bad guy, and I think having a crappy bit of stubble makes me look scarier. But I hate the itch, and now that I don’t have a show for a couple of weeks, that’s all coming off tomorrow morning.
This may call for a challenge — intentionally awful snapshots.
Bad work, Mav. Very bad.
hahahahah
I always love your pics, Chris! You’re sooo funny! :***
Hope your "show" was good, though…looks like you came away without injuries again, though!
chrismaveric: saying it this way, i dont even want to be in your group!
good luck!!
ha ha ha! you do have a double chin in this pic….and i’ve not seen you with it before. i can make out the sign enough in the background (since you provided a story). you look like…geezuz, i can’t believe i’m standing out here in the rain, on the highway, trying to take a photo of myself and a sign…what is WRONG with me?!
as it goes…i’m glad you didn’t mess around out there any longer…those semi’s are dangerous enough in the sunny daylight 😀
