Decided it was time to go in a slightly different direction here. After all, the whole point is to push myself as an artist, right? So I got to thinking, what would be interesting that I have never tried before. And right there, Andy Warhol popped into my head. It was deceptively difficult. Abstract has never my forte, but I tried to really work with the concept and say something about color. I explored both the CMYK and RGB spectrums trying to really get something going with the color and concept. I probably could have kept tweaking photoshop settings forever, but then it was midnight and I had to stop in order to keep the purity of the one a day project.

Interesting and well done , from your buddy icon I thought you had pasted a rose on your head !!!
Ulala Chris, cool indeed!
very warhol-esque (j.lil did something similar recently)!
i love this…now you’ve got one of MY FAVES 😀
I like it! I really want to see the original photo, though, cause that looks HOT. 😉
This would work well in our newest contest, "Vivid Abstract" (in the dicussion thread), would you consider entering it?. Feel free to add any dramatically or vivid photos to our pool as well!
Please consider adding this to the Dramatic Color pool.
@Chris and Marcela: Thanx, guys.
@Jenn: woohoo!!!
@Sarah: *blush* Ummm… no, actually not so much on this particular one. But thank you. I’ll certainly take it.
@Gizmo_Gun: Thank you for the invite. I have posted it there.
Nice job, Mav, I am glad you were forced to stop tweaking it, b/c I think it has reached a perfect point! Too bad we can’t see the detail of you pimp hat, though!
@Shannon: Actually, there are no details on that one. I have several pimp hats. I wear them to wrestling shows a lot. That one is just a pink cowboy hat.
wow awesome!! i wish i was arty! lol
Excellent mosaic!
Thanks for this, I did the copy cat of this shot for todays celebration of YOU. My sincere apologies for the botched-ass job, I tried hard. I even donned a mustache and goatee, it just didn’t compare to how cool yours is.
Thank you for this shot, and for 365 days.
@twnklmoon: Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed the shot, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the project.
