I love the black and white, but to be honest I am not sure I like her fingers being cut off. The hand doesnt bother me, but other one that almost shows, I think is distracing with pieces missing. I would have left the whole thing out or put it all in. Otherwise nice job.

The composition doesn’t work well for me. It seems like this image need to be rotated 180 degrees. The black & white choice for this photo is a good one. It adds to the mood of the picture, good contrast and tones. The depth of field is too shallow. The viewer’s eyes are left wondering what to focus on, initially being drawn to the suject’s head, which is blurry (and very bright white), so they search for another focal point, but can’t find one. In addition, having the hand and fingers cropped off on the right hand side of the image is distracting. The idea for the photograph is unique, but it appears there may be lots of room for improvement in the composition.

well, it’s a decent photo. I think it would be much "stronger" if background was lighter thus creating contrast between subject and background. A bit greater DOF would also do the trick, i think 🙂
