One of my most favorite things in the whole wide world is my family’s rice pudding. I’ve loved it since I was a toddler. Imagine how surprised I was when I found out that when other people make rice pudding its actually, well, a pudding. My family makes a casserole that we call rice pudding. I’m told its similar to what other people call bread pudding. Anyway, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and as my contribution I’ll be bringing a rice pudding to Steph’s family’s dinner as dessert. And since there’s no way I could possibly make rice pudding and not eat it that very same day, I was forced to make two and will be serving the second at my poker game tonight.
Mmmmmm….
Sounds…. not good. But I’m a picky eater, so that’s just me. : ) Great photo…. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Yeah, I hate rice pudding. And bread pudding. 😉
Love the men who cook, however! Happy Thanksgiving, Mav!
Unlike the others, I do like rice pudding. I also like this image-love the movement of the left hand, love the idea, love the timing, love that your oven mitt has an American Flag on it given the truly American nature of this holiday (even abroad, the Americans I know are celebrating it in one way or another). Happy Thanksgiving. When do we all go around and say what we’re thankful for?
recipe?
Happy thanks given Chis. I love that picture. Fabulous! Simple and brilliant, as always.
well, my mom and her husband LOVE rice pudding. Chris likes rice pudding, it seems that the little guy and I are not too fond of it…but I am not one to turn down someone’s food…so I’d probably eat it…and since yours doesn’t sound like a typical rice pudding, who knows…maybe i’d like it. BUT….the thing being…i like to eat RICE…I don’t like it sweet.
Anyway…just as sarah said…but men that cook…bonus! Hope you had a happy thanksgiving and that Steph’s family received your cooking kindly!!!
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Special Men: who cook for you, and we’d love to have your photo added to the group.
@Kotie Bear: added… thank you
