The worst part of the holiday season is the packing on of pounds. It starts with Thanksgiving dinner, moves through Christmas dinner and all the way to the drunken debauchery of New Years. Even on the non-important days like today, I end up doing silly stuff like going out shopping and eating dinner at Fuddruckers, Home of the World’s Greatest Hamburger. Granted I had the chicken sandwich, but still. Ah well, I guess maybe Ill try to work off the calories tomorrow. in any case, until then I’ll just assume I’m putting on my winter weight.
om
omg. I love Fuddruckers! There is a saying in Spanish that my mama always told me "La comida no se cuenta" …that there is my motto. 🙂
yeah, they say it’s the world’s greatest hamburger…though i think they’re good… i have to disagree about "world’s best"…but i won’t get into that debate here 😉
i know EXACTLY what you’re talking about…I’m trying to have positive thoughts about NOT gaining too much weight over the winter…I don’t want to yo-yo again this year….I’ve finally gotten most of the pregnancy weight gone…
Anyway…it’s breakfast time now and you’re making me hungry….think Fuddruckers’ is open yet ;-P
Nice shot!
i’m still working on finishing off halloween candy!
it’ll be after easter before the sweets disappear from the diet!
365 Days
When I saw the thumbnail I assumed you were eating a Turkey sandwich! Cause that’s what I love about after Thanksgiving…turkey on rye bread with cole slaw and russian dressing. Mmmmmm.
It’s winter weight…we are all in this together, so I say "Let’s eat!" 😀
I love Fuddrucker’s but their 2 pound hamburger option will always scare me.
Well….I guess I am the inadvertant cause of the no-turkey sam’nich! Sorry, time just slipped away from me……..
I don’t really need to add to the 20-lb. belt of fat — a.k.a. "love handles" — that I carry around my waist these days, but damn…! The holiday food is so tasty!!
Must try Fuddruckers again. Only been there once, and I’m a hamburger fiend!
mmm, came back to this photo again and saw Sarahs’ suggestion…it’s funny, i <3 that sandwich you speak of but i never think about making it from my leftovers….it’s something i order when we go out for lunch… now i’m going to make one today…with the last of the turkey!!
