Hello there ladies. Let me ask you some important questions? Are you dating me? Have you ever dated me? Do you plan on dating sometime in the near future? If the answer to any of those questions is no, then you are totally missing out. Why? Because I am the best boyfriend in the whole wide world.
Steph is a notoriously late Christmas shopper, and though we have 9 days left before the big day, I really didn’t want her to be running around at the last minute on Christmas eve to get stuff, so I kept nagging and harassing her until she went out today to get some of her shopping done.
While she was gone I ran out and bought a little Christmas tree and some decorations and put it up for her. We’ve had Christmas trees in the past of course, but we didn’t do one last year (brand new house and we never got around to it) and she was kind of bummed out by it. So I decided to get a nice tiny artificial one so that we can definitely have something every year. I put it together, hung some stockings and decorated it. Its now sitting there plugged in looking all pretty and waiting for her to come home and be surprised by it. Oh, and of course there are even extra ornaments left over that I didn’t put on the tree, because half the fun of having a tree is decorating it, and I’d hate for her not to have that. Look at that devilishly handsome gentleman sitting under the tree ladies. That’s what you’re missing out on. All this and brains too. Aren’t you jealous?
Oh… I’m also amazing in the sack.

yes, your story was great and the photo too. i guess that makes me the best girlfriend/fiance in the world…because prior to seeing your photo, i went out yesterday and bought a real tree with the little guy, set it up in the stand and put the lights on it (the boring job!) and we waited for Chris to come home. He was so happy…he thought it was just the right size and everything. Then, when he was in the shower after work, the little guy and I put a bunch of decorations on but not all of them…so when he came down…i had bought him a brand new ornament–a drum set–for him to put on wherever he wanted (and a few others) and a new Mickey Mouse ornament for the little guy.
I love! that tree. Way to be spontaneous. 🙂
