I really have no excuse for the blurriness today. I thought I had checked the focus and I guess not.
Anyway, its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, or as I call it, the non-denominational yuletide winter holiday. Steph had the great idea of hanging all the cards we got this year on the banister. It actually looks kind of cool. Sadly, we are lazy good for nothing bums and never got around to sending any cards out to anyone else. Maybe next year.
I never send out the Christmas cards either. I figure if I see you on a regular basis, then I don’t need to and if I don’t see you on a regular basis, then I really don’t find that need for communication to be required.
Good idea, with the cards and the banister.
i’m sending my cards out probably on boxing day… better late than never??
yes, i only managed to get a few cards out…but have more sitting at home, ready to send….just haven’t done it. i will though, i will send them…even if they’re late…it’s the thought right?!
we hang our cards around the archway dividing our kitchen/livingroom (aka playroom) and it always brightens the house for the holidays!
Merry Christmas Mav!!
My mom used to hang ours all around the kitchen in a row along the top of our panelled walls (we had that 1/2 panelling, 1/2 wallpaper kind of 70s kitchen). I used to love how the different colors and finishes blended together. Then one year I almost lit a whole row on fire after a mishap with an Advent candle.
