Well, that’s it. Today was my last day of work, at least full time, on my current contract. What do you do when you’re unemployed? Well me, I come home and spend some nice quality time relaxing in my hottub. Nothing like sitting in 100 degree water and sweating in the middle of winter. I’ll get back to looking for a job on Monday, for now, some much needed relaxation.
om
ohhhh i’m sooooo jealous. did you see the little home size sauna’s you can get now too? i love stuff like this. your stare here is freakin hilarious.
Good luck with the job search! I hope you’ve had — and will have — a relaxing holiday otherwise!
Water too hot in the hot tub! Ow! Burned ma’self! Ha! It feels good!
Man, you kids have it made. When I was unemployed, I never got to sit in a hot tub with a beautiful lady.
@jessie: yeah, I’ve seen them. I actually considered it for a bit, but then I decided that what I really wanted was a nice full sized one that we can share with friends and use during parties.
@george: Thank you.
@jim: Thanx for reminding me. I actually meant to dedicate this to the godfather. As for the hottub and the beautiful lady… I mean, that’s half the fun of being unemployed there.
Looks relaxing! I’m jealous!:)
What I love about this shot is the candid quality of it. It almost looks like the paparazzi caught you off guard in your hot tub and you’re shocked at the intrusion.
This is a great tribute!
Good luck with the job hunt. Seriously, have you thought about publishing something having to do with this group? You could make a few dollars, I think…
@clarity: Thanx. If you’re ever in town feel free to stop by.
@elladog: yeah, I have. But there are practical concerns. I only own my pictures, not the rest of yours, and the project isn’t complete yet. But we’ll see.
Dude Hot Tub .. Sweeeeeeeet
Glad u finished work …
Hope you find a new one soon (you should try and come to the gulf .. they need techie people and web people here)
Enjoy the holidays and happy new year
Cheers
I’ve been asked to move down there for work before. I like it up here though. I’m sure I’ll land on my feet soon. I hope.
well, i’ll be taking you up on that offer to "stop by if you’re ever in town" as i will surely be in "town" sometime in the next 6 months (hopefully while it’s still cold outside!)
your stare is hilarious here…you look like someone snuck up and took your picture!
good luck with the job search, you do have it made…hot tub for an unemployed man…must be nice 😉 enjoy your time off…i’m sure it won’t last too long with someone as talented as you!
Happy New year to you and Steph!!
@Jen: Oh, you must be like Steph. She always complains that its too hot to use the hottub in the summer and she’d much rather be in our pool. I can’t imagine it ever being too hot to use the hottub. Happy New Years to you too.
um, wait a gosh darn minute…you’ve got a pool AND a hot tub?! some people have all the luck!! is it in ground or above? now i’ve got a reason to come in the warmer months too ;-P
@Jen: Yeah, we have a pool, I actually took a 365 shot of me covering it for the winter way back at the end of the summer. It’s above ground, mostly. Maybe one day I’ll have the money to dig a below ground one. Or maybe the next house. *shrug*
