Do you know what one of the best parts about living with your girlfriend is. Nope, not the sex. It’s always having someone around to do fun things with. Like yesterday hanging out in the hottub, and today, a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit.
Steph and I love Trivial Pursuit. We have like ten different versions of it. Tonight we played the 90s edition. One of the main reasons I love Trivial Pursuit is that I’m really good at it. All the brain cells that most people devote to memorizing useful life skills and their phone number and stuff like that, I’ve devoted to remembering who hosted Kids Say the Darndest Things (Bill Cosby, by the way). So of course I won. I promised Steph I wouldn’t say what the final piece score was. And since I love her, I won’t say. I also won’t brag. See, if I didn’t love her I’d say something like "I beat her like she stole something." or "I beat her so bad, her own momma don’t recognize her" or "I haven’t seen anyone get beat that badly since Rodney King." But I love her. So I won’t say anything like that. (You’re welcome, Sweetie.) In any case, it was a nice calm way to spend a Saturday evening at home, saving up our strength for tomorrow’s New Year’s Eve celebrating. And i couldn’t think of a better person to spend it with.
Ok, yes… you’re right. Also the sex is a nice benefit.
When the sex goes (and it does if you decide to have baby make three)…

@jessie: Well sure. But my point was more that its the benefit of her being here. Love doesn’t keep you from being bored if you’re not together.

Yay for boardgames – and you are very right about the fun of always having someone to hang out with. Jon is my best friend and what could be better than living with your best friend?? Can’t wait til we move in together… once uni is over! Happy New Year to you and Steph!
