Such a long day. Its amazing how much stuff I end up having to do while I’m unemployed. Paid bills, and did some more culling through yesterday’s photoshoot. Went to the store to buy a new spot light lamp and some other things, and came home and worked out. If that’s not a full work day, I don’t know what is.
I took this, because I wanted to find some way to really show off the new light. Its only a 200 watt bulb (the last one was 250). I also bought a 300 watt, but its kind of big (physically) and its not a soft light, so I may have to experiment a bit. As soon as I’m working again, I think I want to buy a soft box.
Nice lighting. I like chiaroscuro.
Great idea, and awesome shadows.
nicely done….i like to see what you’re working with….especially since i have nothing to work with 😉
and as for "amazing how much stuff end up having to do while i’m unemployed"….as a "stay at home" mom….I KNOW, I KNOW…not sure how i ever worked a 40 hr work week!!!
This is a lovely shot.
I finally broke down and bought some lighting yesterday, too – three photoflood lights with umbrellas. Whether or not I can actually figure out how to use them correctly is another story! Heh!
I love the lighting here! Great shot, sorry you are sooooo busy! Dinner plans tonight? I have a friend comong over, and if you guys want to……maybe hit the exposure party????
thanx everyone.
@Jen: and I don’t even have a kid to deal with. *sigh*
@peskymac: Cool! Good luck with it. They’re a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
@Shan: maybe… give me a call when you get a chance.

I like your face ‘floating’ in the blackness.
This light is beautiful. I love this shot.
thanx again, everyone
