Homo Sapien Alleghenius is a mostly omnivorous creature, though like this specimen they prefer gathering to hunting. Both genders are capable of mating at any point throughout the year and females give live birth. The population typically dwells in structures of their own creation in either the mountains or by their environment’s numerous rivers.
For the Class with Dave group. Assignment: National Geographic style picture of somebody in their natural habitat.
Great capture. It has a lonely feel to it, but somewhat natural, from your description. It’s cool.
Great winter scene. The blotches of snow, the blurry train tracks in the background lend to the sense of loneliness. She could be me, returning from the grocery store to my empty apartment…
I thought you were spying on Shannon here….she has to walk so often to get things…I thought maybe she left the kiddo home with Doug and went out for groceries…but I see I’m wrong ;-P I know you don’t live too close to each other…so that would be a bit of a stretch anyway!
Love your description!
That’s awesome… I love your description! That’s great how you’ve managed to catch her nice and sharp in action

Cool shot and your description is awesome…you made me laugh. 😀
cute shot…..
Very fun description, but you violated the knees and feet rule: If you show someone’s knees, you must show their feet. Otherwise it looks very cropped and almost amputated. Great focus and exposure.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! LOVE that description! very funny.
had I not been the one posting after Dave I would’ve forgotten the Knee/feet rule. why’d you amputate her feet Mav? you monster!
thanx everyone. Glad you all liked it. I had fun with the description, and I’m glad everyone thought it was funny.
@Jen: Nope, though I took a couple snapshots of Shan, I’ve still never sat down and really tried to shoot her. Still have to do that sometime.
@Shan: you listening?
@Protagonist and icekween01: Actually, she was walking behind this road curb that covered her feet and that I found even more weird and distracting so I cropped it out and crossed my fingers and hoped no one would notice. Guess I was wrong.
I like it … it’s got a sort of gritty documentary feel to it. You can imagine the cameraman following her around all day, through her routine, without her appearing to notice.

well done !!!
