Oh what a difference a day makes. It’s been an intersting 24 hours. I survived yesterday’s early morning car incident only to spend the entire day taking care of tons of errands (including buying new backdrop cloth for the studio, woohoo!). Then, last night, I went to my friend Mike’s bachelor party. Which involved getting drunk and playing pub trivia and then going to a local strip club for Bareoke! Bareoke is quite possibly the best idea ever. Karaoke (I’m actually a really big fan of karaoke out at bars, with proper drinking, though as I’ve mentioned before, Steph likes to sing it at home, I think out of the bar atmosphere it lose a lot) at a strip club. You get up and sing and strippers dance around you. Whoever came up with that should get a Nobel prize. I wish you could take cameras into strip clubs, because that would have been the best 365 pic ever!
Anyway, today I spent the day talking to a whole bunch of recruiters about different jobs. I’m not even sure how many I talked to and then I went to go visit my friend Gina and her new baby boy, Rowan. He’s 8 days old. Gina and Rowan are moving back to Baltimore this weekend and I’m going to miss her. But it was nice to get a chance to see the baby before then (I’m helping her pack the truck on Saturday, but I figure there won’t be as much socializing time then).
Still, its amazing the amount of things you can get done in 24 hours.
Awwwww, this is a wonderful pic. Of course you know that lately I’m a sucker for babies. Sounds like a full day, no wonder I didn’t get to talk to you much. Glad it was nice productive stuff though. I don’t know Gina, but tell her I say good luck & that she sure has a cute baby boy!

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
This is such a sweet shot!!! Love it. You look nice holding a baby *wink*wink*
HeeHee.
@lrayholly: I certainly will.
@PhotoKat: Thank you! I was wondering what happened to you. You didn’t comment on the last couple shots.
Sorry….I’ve been in my shell. But I should be back from now on. And yeah, I’m ready to spar, let’s do it! ;-P
@PhotoKat: aww… glad you’re feeling better(just read your pic for today). And you have to hit first. I’m a gentleman, I can’t attack a girl. 😉
Such a tender picture. Yeah for tenderness 🙂
@Ms.Blue: thank you. I’m glad you thought it was nice.
hmmm, we’re trading friends?!
you’ll have to let me know where in b’more she’s moving…. bareoke…that’s hilarious! you’re right…too bad you can’t take a photo in there…maybe if you asked the management and dancer nicely they’d let you take one…or you could buy one of those tiny keychain digi-cams that they sell at Target/Wal-Mart for $15 and they’d never even know….may be worth a try…just don’t go to a strip club that you ever want to go to again….in case you get banned!
Beautiful baby!
I love the expression on your face in this one.
However, I do not like babies. It’s kind of an issue. But that one looks relatively harmless.
@pi c’s: Eh… if I really wanted to, I’m sure I could work something out, but I hate to break anyone’s rules. Especially there, it was a really nice place and I’d like to be able to go back. It was fun in any case.
@jessi.: You’re a girl… sooner or later that baby loving gene will kick in.
Um, no.
I don’t have one.
@jessi.: sure you do… its just dormant. kinda like the gene that makes all women evilly control their men. 😉
Okay, well, I think it’s going to remain dormant forever. I am not interested.
The evil control thing? I’m all about that. 😛
@jessi.: well, at least you’re getting half of it right.
wonderful picture.
he looks very chill in your arms there.
@ms.Tea: He was mostly pretty ok… There were a few moments where he cried but then he’d quickly quiet back down. I guess 8 day olds are fickle.
