Spent a lazy day in Boston. I’m mostly over being sick, but I’m still really tired from everything the flu took out of me, and my lungs are full of fluid, so I’m coughing a lot. It was really cold, and my friend, Meron, is also sick, so we mostly avoided doing pretty much anything. But we did go to a couple of Boston’s fine eateries. Here we are having brunch at a place called Soundbites in Ball Square. Very good blueberry pancakes. For dinner we went to an Indian place called Namaskar in Davis Square. I am now officially too bloated to move. Not sure if that’s remnants of the flu or the food. Probably both.

I don’t care what anybody says, I like this selective coloring stuff. It’s just a very neat technique (when done well). You did a cool job with this. I really like how the focus is on the front table and you two are out of focus. Great shot!

I love the black and white mixed with color. You did a great job on this. I also like the story to go with the picture. I think Indian food is supposed to be good for colds, all those spices!
@Travelinjim: Thanx. Sometimes I just like being gimmicky. I’m glad it turned out well.
@Kungfukitten: I dunno. Really I just have an upset stomach at this point. We’ll see how it goes. Glad you like the shot.
A really nice shot. The color over b&w is really cool. But the best part is camera’s viewpoint. It’s like I’m at that table wishing I could join you guys 🙂
i love food comas 😉 as long as it’s good food.
glad to hear that you’re feeling better…at least a little. and, everything your mom said about the photo 😀
@lrayholly: thank you. Like I said before. I’m just glad it didn’t come across as too gimmicky.
@pi c’s: I’m having good and bad moments. Like right now, I’m feeling sick again. Mostly my throat is getting worse from constant coughing for two weeks.
A great "moment" shot. I love me some Indian food.

@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: me too. Though actually this shot is from the earlier meal when I’m eating pancakes.
awww… I miss you and Meron so much now! *sigh* must visit soon.
Coolio!
@mickeysacks: I’d been saying that forever. 😛
@PhotoKat: thank you.
