Did a photoshoot with Shiima and Mallory today. These are the first three shots I finished from it. More to come, including two new tarot cards. Would love to hear people’s thoughts.
Mallory is a friend of Shiima’s and an asipring makeup artist. She did both her and Shiima’s makeup for this shoot, which I think turned out well. She’s also really cute. Yay for really cute.
excellent contrasts of color use and lighting.
and smile or not.. I like the expresion caught on the models face.. smiles are nice.. but sometimes overly expected..

Excellent Job.
@Morningstar1369: thank you. She was actually trying to affect anxiety, for the look of the tarot card that she was posing for. This isn’t the shot I ultimately chose for that card, but I liked the look of it, so I posted it anyway.
Very pretty girl (I can call her a girl ’cause I’m old). But why does everybody look so angry?
@lrayholly: I blame calvin klien. Modern models never smile anymore. 🙂
I like how her hair disappears into the background. She has a lovely back.
@Kungfukitten: thank you. I’m fond of low-key lighting and I use that chiaroscuro effect in a lot of my pics.
Beautiful shot…lighting is great!
And Lynn cracked me up with her comment…it’s true, everyone is always looking angry nowadays. 😉

@sadandbeautiful (Sarah): yeah… that’s just the look, I guess. I was pretty happy with my lighting yesterday.

It’s just a back. Unflag.

Seen in your FC-overreact set. (?)
@Sick Little Monkey: I’m agonizing over this one. *sigh*
