When last we left our intrepid hero he was walking along the train tracks in search of adventure.
Ok, so the damndest thing happened since yesterday. There I was riding the rails, walking against the wind, traveling from town to town, deflowering farmer’s daughters, being run out by sheriffs, that sort of thing, when I hit an emerging megaopolis and I’m given the chance to join a traveling air show. I really didn’t know anything about flying planes, but I’m always up for a challenge so I said sure.
Turns out I’m a natural, and I’m the hit of the air show. I developed a minor little bit of celebrity. So, for lunch I went out and had chinese food, and I kind of develop a crush on the 16-year-old daughter of the owner. Anyway, while I’m talking to her (totally innocent, the girl is only 16), The city was suddenly attacked by giant space aliens. Yeah, I know… totally unbelievable, but the damndest thing. One of the giants grabs the chinese girl, and me being the hero I am, I decide to go save her. Luckily the city happened to be built next to a military base, and there just happened to be a fighter jet right there. So I jump in the jet and take off to go save her.
Turns out the jet has the ability to transform into a giant robot. Even weirder the entire city also has the ability to transform into an even gianter robot. So me and the military fight the space aliens, when we’re accidentally teleported out past pluto. Our warp drive gets lost in the process, so it took us a while to get back. All the while we’re fending off this alien invasion that wants to destroy the Earth. Eventually we get the upper-hand because it turns out that the Chinese Girl is a fledging pop singer and the aliens get confused when they hear her lyrics (a song called "My Boyfriend is a Fighter Pilot," which I swear is just a song and nothing happened) because they don’t understand emotion and love. So we blast that song out on every radio frequency and distract the aliens long enough to fend off the invasion. Then we returned to Earth now that the planet is safe and sound.
You’re welcome.
space lights flashing… this feelings smashing… this is my time to be a star…
err… uh… nevermind.
ummmm too much caffiene?
Great fantasy pic! Lovely that Ms. Steph is a "Star"!
@lrayholly: Eh… it was an idea that I had yesterday, actually. Didn’t think it’d turn out as hard as it ended up turning out. And she’s not a star… She’s taped to the wind shield. You know, the boys like a reminder of what they’re fighting for back home.
OH! Duh… yeah that makes more sense anyway. Sorry… sleepy, I’ll go to bed now.
@lrayholly: ah… maybe its not as obvious as I thought it was. *shrug*
This is a fun shot and I love the story, esp. with the continuation from yesterday. Will there be another installment tomorrow? 🙂
@SydB42: I dunno… we’ll see where the wind takes me.
The more I look at this, the cooler it is!
Very well done, sir!
@ElDave: glad you like it… I forced myself to stop before midnight, and this is another one of those things where the more I look the more mistakes I see. Ah well. Thanks in any case.
Then stop looking at it!
You did great!
I was hanging on the edge yesterday wondering what would become of Mr. Hobo Vagabond, but I didn’t expect this 🙂 Nice twist!
@ElDave: heh… thanks.
@ωαρριορβυμβλεβεε: That’s why you have to check every day, I guess. You never know what will happen. 🙂 Thank you.
Dump Minmei. Dump her now!
@max1975: oh come on…its innocent little puppy love. What’s the worse that could happen?
YAY ROBOTECH!!!!!
sorry, the geek in me spilled out even more…

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
Kill Minmei. Kill her now!
Our hero!!!
🙂
(You are a very strange man, Mav. Gotta love ya).
@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: Well, you know, if I couldn’t make the world safe for geeks, then I hadn’t really saved it.
@MegaBee: why? She’s a worldwide hero. You people need to show some respect… and she’s so cute…
@sadandbeautiful (Sarah): I hadn’t done anything really gratuitously photoshoppy in a while and I wanted to. Really, it was a lot more work than I anticipated, so I’ll be taking a break for a while again.
I’m glad to see your travels have gone intergalactic! Saving the world isn’t easy.
@Kungfukitten: no… but I do what I have to do.
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Yeah, It’s that good!, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
