The worse my "professional" life gets, the better my photography life gets. I could totally get used to this if I could just turn a profit. I’ve got 5 photoshoots scheduled in the next 2 weeks for the Tarot project, plus I’ve talked to 5 other models today or yesterday about doing them as well, so there are potentially several more as well. I’ve also talked to a couple other photographers about shooting with them, and I’ve been asked to provide work for a show in July about Pittsburgh (meaning I have to go and shoot some city pics in the next few weeks). On top of that, the models who cancelled this week came by to do their make-up shoot tonight. If only I could make some money for all of this, I’d be golden.
Anyway, I wanted to play with lighting design a little bit before my models got here and I took this shot. It doesn’t really say much about today, except that today was all about photography. Maybe tomorrow will be all about money. If not, well a day of photography is a lot more fun than whatever most people do for a living.
Excellent, Chris. I’d love to see the pictures of Pittsburgh.
@Nor757: thank you. I’ll certainly be posting them as I do them.
This shot reminds me of Terminator when they come through the vortex. You have really neat back muscles. Great shot!
@Kungfukitten: hehehe… thanks. I think I have awful back muscles, actually. But I’m working on it.

THAT’S the truth!
Nice shot. And congrats on the Pittsburgh shoot! I hope you can start making some cash off of your work soon. You really are quite good. :o)

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
@lrayholly: Actually, that a paraphrase of a quote from a movie. But I still agree.
@Sick Little Monkey: thank you. and thank you. I hope I can too. And thank you.
Just stopping by on my way to bed to say HI!!!!!!!!
@PhotoKat: Hi! and good night.
This is great mav!
Glad to hear that you’re getting more models to shoot…and yes, wouldn’t it be nice if we could all get paid, even a LITTLE for the time we spend taking photos!!
Great shot. I really like the way your hair blends into the shadows.
@MegaBee: thanx… i like that effect a lot. (obviously)
