Day 271 of 365 days.
Made a little bit of progress on the job front today, as I took calls from 3 different recruiters, including the one i talked to yesterday who thinks that the job she’s recruiting for is a virtual sure thing for me. Of course I’ve heard that before. Interview is tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes.
I also get to take a drug test, which won’t be a problem at all, unless they test for nicotine, alcohol, chocolate, dvds or photography. Geeze, I have way too many addictions. Who can afford crack?
Whenever I do start working again, I’m really going to have to adjust my lifestyle, and sadly my photography will probably suffer for it. I’ve been staying up til 4 and 5 in the morning a lot lately working on the Tarot pics and other photo stuff. I’ve been really happy with the progress and its going to be a shame to lose that just to be able to do silly stuff like pay the bills and eat.
Also, if you haven’t looked at the Maverick Tarot yet, or in a while, please check them out. There are 8 cards now, and I’d love to hear some feedback about them. I have at least 4 photoshoots coming up in the next week or so, so there should be even more coming along. I’m going to have to do some of the non gothy naked cards soon. I don’t want people to think that’s all I’m interested in for it.
Oh wow! This is another really good one! Everybody takes an eye pic, but wow! Talk about taking it to another level. Great work!
@lrayholly: really? I wasn’t so sure on this one. It felt kind of hokey.
I like this pic a lot. You did a really great job. I bet crack would probably be a lot cheaper than your other addictions. You might want to look into it. (joking, don’t want any of my friends on crack!)

Good luck on the interview. I know my imagination fell way off when I started working again. But, well, having a paycheck is a pretty good thing too.

I think you are too hard on yourself…this has wonderful detail for "just an eye shot" in my opinion.
It is a pretty cool shot Mav, and I agree with about the detail.
Good luck with the interview…and yeah, adjusting to working again will surely suck, but we’re here for ya. 😉

@KarenMarleneLarsen: still no word on the job front. Did hear from a recruiter on Friday about something that sounds better, but its still the very early stages of that. Glad you like the pic.
