The problem with some of the tarot cards is they require very specific casting. Judgement, for instance requires a newborn baby and a mother. And since the major arcana cards are all nude, it required a naked newborn and mother. So, when a friend of mine had one I certainly wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity.
Connie was nice enough to bring over her four week old son, Thomas Jefferson so they could pose for my tarot deck. I am quite grateful, and I’m sure this will traumatize him 13 years from now.

That is absolutely gorgeous! You are doing a fantastic job on these cards. I’m loving them, and I don’t know anything about tarot!
Amazing!!!!
This is such a beautiful shot! The card looks great.
And he even has red hair like THE Thomas Jefferson.
Nah, he won’t be traumatized. It’s not like you’re showing his little dingler.
I’ve really been enjoying seeing these show up, and seeing me and Thomas up there is no exception.
Thanks for doing such a lovely job with my post-partum body. Thomas Jefferson, of course, looks perfectly adorable.
totally love this!

@lrayholly: well, tarot was mostly a reference frame. The hope was always that people would like the look of them just as art even if they didn’t care for tarot.
@mesh2: thank you. Glad you like it.
@phlewght: well, you know… I’d hate to go to jail for kiddie porn.
@thwomp: Thank you again for posing for them. I mailed you the others you wanted. May post them here later. I think they turned out nice.
@Its All About Mich!!!: glad you like it. Thanks.

@Christy9799: I’m glad you like it. I’ve been having a lot of fun putting these together.
So CUTE! This is something they both will cherish forever.
@beststephi: you don’t think he’ll be embarassed? Thanks, though. Glad you like it.
Will you smack me if I tell you that you spelled Judgment wrong, Mav?
@emilydrew: not at all. I’d thank you for helping me correct something that might matter later in publication.
That said, the name of the card is actually Judgement, not Judgment. It uses the british spelling. (a judgment being the outcome of a legal trial or proceeding and a judgement being a decision or reckoning in other contexts)
