Day 279 of 365 days.
So I never heard from my model for this morning, so I guess that pretty much means that shoot is cancelled. Spent the morning editing some photos, and then got a phone call from Shannon asking me if I wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for her son, Parker’s birthday. Seeing as how I hadn’t hung out with her in a while and I had absolutely nothing to do, I figured why not?
I haven’t been to Chuck E Cheese in years. It definitely loses something as an adult, and I think this one was probably kind of lame. I was going to take a picture in the ball pit. But there wasn’t one. What kind of Chuck E Cheese doesn’t have a ball pit?
Anyway, turns out that they have one little kiddie ride that lasts about 60 seconds that takes a "digital photo" of you while you ride. Bingo! I knew I had to take that shot. I had a hard time squeezing into the car, but it was so worth it.
I did have tonight’s photoshoot and it went great. I’ll have shots up from that as soon as I can.
hehe… I know what you mean about CEC… I pretty much dislike them too. I think they quit with the ball pits because of sanitation issues. :/

I don’t think they do anymore, any of them due to weird shit like knives in there and stuff.

some friends of mine make a grownup sized ball pit for their fun house at Burning Man, and they have found some really amazing stuff at the bottom of that thing. Drinks, toys, smokes, all the grownup stuff you’d be carrying on yourself in the middle of Burning Man. Awesome.
But yeah, I think CeC stopped with the ball pit because there’s no way to keep ’em clean, and they were basically play-petri-dishes. ick.

I like to call Chuck E. Cheese’s "Chuck E. Sneezes"…all those kids wiping their snotty hands on everything! Of course, the kids do like it. It’s too loud for me…and the one near us doesn’t have a ball pit either…maybe they had to do away with them since we were little mav.
anyway, i love this shot…we’ve got some of Z in that same car….I guess some things are standard at the sneeze now 🙂
