Day 283 of 365 days.

Had another photoshoot today, and I still haven’t finished editing yesterday’s shots. I did put up the Page of Cups card that I put together to both some positive and negative feedback, so I’d appreciate as much other feedback on that (and for that matter, the previous days, Queen of Swords card).

Spent the day with two models who were nice enough to come down from the DC area to pose for staff cards in the Tarot Deck. Their cards should be up soon as well. After that I took them to a hotel they wanted to stay at and the maill where I got a few things, including a new tripod. Photography is really consuming my night.

Tonight, I am enjoying a beer and the best night in television, at least for a while. The season finales of both Heroes and 24. I guess next week I can go back to watching wrestling on Monday nights.

Mmm… beer.

    Hi Mav!

    Nice shot.

I hate to say this but I was a tad bit disappointed with the finale of Heroes. I expected more of a throwdown. Now the part with Hiro at the end will be interesting for next season.

    @PhotoKat: Hi Kat!

@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: from my reply to someone elsewhere: The Heroes ending I actually found REALLY annoying and stupid. Because, yeah, Peter can fly! He doesn’t need Nathan. And yeah, he can use multiple powers at the same time. He’s done so before. Sylar getting away is stupid. It is all that is wrong with 1960s era comic books. He comes back someday, fine. But the whole "oh look he crawled down a manhole and no one noticed" thing is ridiculously stupid. On a good note it was nice to see that little Micah is going to be getting laid regularly now. He’s a good kid and deserves it.

You are bad. But it’s true

@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: yep. If that wasn’t the look of a little girl who just caught the vapors I don’t know what is.

glad you had a good day.

do you know how mad i am? since i had to put the little guy to bed, i had planned on just taping 24 and watching it later. well, i forgot to RESET the VHS (yes, vhs….i don’t got no fancy tivo shit! ;P) to start at 8pm…so i totally will miss the first hour. Chris said that it wasn’t a big deal, that the 2nd half was the real meat of the finale. i can’t wait….tonight!!!

but, though 24 has won my viewing medal for the past …mm, how many seasons now? LOST is really taking over as my FAVE….but followed closely by 24 (and now The Riches…the only other show on tv that I watch!)

From the thumbnail, I thought that was a mic and you were spitting rhymes.

Had Peter ever used multiple powers in the present? Also, he has to recall how a particular person made him feel in order to manifest their power. The first time he manifested Ted’s power, he was panicky and on edge, not the best mindset to be in for controlling a power.

    What does your shirt say?

Also, I’ve never seen either show. I feel so left out.

Your eyes look beautiful in this shot!

@pi c’s: I was never really able to get into LOST. I tried, but it really just wasn’t my thing.

@MegaBee: I’m pretty sure he has used both telekinesis and flight while invisible.

@jessi.: "Beer, the only carbs I need" And you’re a weirdo Canadian. And thank you *swoon*

  11. May 23, 2007 at 9:23 am

We can never be sure that he’s used TK while invisible. He could’ve been just shoving that stuff. In any case, the nuclear powers took the original wielder months to get a handle on; Peter didn’t have nearly that much time. I can accept Sylar figuring them out quickly since his original power was knowing how things work.

  12. May 23, 2007 at 9:42 am

@MegaBee: well, as I stated to you before. I prefer Peter being an idiot anyway. If he has half a brain then he becomes too godlike and a complete storyline killer. A Damxamite patrolling Hell’s Kitchen.

  13. May 23, 2007 at 9:52 am

Definitely. He has to either be dead or have his powers burned-out from the explosion. I also would’ve accepted him becoming a being of pure energy and leaving Earth to find his destiny.

  14. May 23, 2007 at 10:11 am

@MegaBee: I always consider "oh no, my powers have been burnt out" to be such a copout, but I also have a hard time believing they’ll leave him dead, so I dunno.

  15. May 23, 2007 at 11:41 am

You know what would be crazy? If Peter’s explosion ended up being a White Event™.

  16. May 23, 2007 at 1:02 pm

White Event? Interesting theory. So New Universe of you

  17. May 23, 2007 at 1:13 pm

@MegaBee: more like the black event. Hiro is clearly witnessing the white event.

@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: we live in Pittsburgh. The center of the New Universe.

  18. May 23, 2007 at 2:24 pm

Now I wonder how many people actually remember the New Universe and bought most of the books *raises hand*

You know they’re currently redoing the New Universe, right?
