Another long day. We spent the day at Steph’s brother’s house to celebrate her nephew’s birthday. Nice kids, but I certainly need a break after spending a day with them. On a good note, I was able to get another Tarot Card (the 3 of Swords) done and posted. As always, I’d love feedback on that.
After we got home, we decided to relax and watch a movie. I think I should mention at this point that I have a love of bad B movies. I really really really love them. The great thing about having a DVR system is that I don’t have to stay up til 5 AM to watch really crappy movies. I can record them and watch them at my leisure. Usually Stephanie doesn’t care for such classics as Beach Babes From Beyond 2: Cave Girl Island or Bikini Carwash Company II but when she saw that I had recorded Death To the Supermodels, which stars Jamie Pressly of My Name is Earl fame (one of her favorite shows), she just had to watch it with me.
I have to say, this might have been one of the absolute worst movies I’ve ever seen. I mean, its not as bad as Flesh Gordon 2: Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders but it was just appallingly bad. It was almost painful to watch.
And yet we did. Steph is going to bed soon. I hope she doesn’t have nightmares. I for one will wipe my mind of the atrocity by watching the classic in the making Naked Encounters.
hahahahaha! Steph looks like she’s disgusted by it and you look like you’re enthralled with it! That’s just sad!
@lrayholly: oh, I was going for shocked. Not enthralled… it was REALLY bad.
hmmmm now that you say it, enthralled implies you were enjoying it, and that’s NOT the look! So perhaps shocked is more accurate…
@lrayholly: oh… ok… good.
yep, i have to agree with your mom on this one….steph’s definitely NOT happy about this…but you, you look like you’re faking it…i see amusement in your face ;-P
@pi c’s: well, it was kind of amusing as to how how bad it was… but it really was appallingly bad.
The looks on both of your faces are priceless. I’ve seen those looks before while watching similar movies… btw, Breakfast at Tiffany’s? LOVED it. Awesome movie and George Peppard never looked better.

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
@adayinthelife: one of my all time favorites. Did I tell you to watch it at some point? I don’t see a comment about it.
I think I mentioned it last week we were going to watch it, and you remarked that you liked it quite a bit and recommended it. This is my first Audrey Hepburn movie and I don’t know how I’ve missed them all these years. I have a lineup of Audrey on Netflix now. : )
@adayinthelife: Oh, well then I’m glad you liked it.
