Day 317 of 365 days.
Got a tune-up for my car and then spent the day driving to New York City with Stephanie for our audition for Who Wants to be a Millionaire. The drive was uneventful, but long. Especially the part where we were just in a traffic jam in Jersey and went like a mile and a half in about 40 min. On a good note, the drive gave me a chance to memorize all the state capitals and the order of the US Presidents. Stuff I maybe knew once in like 3rd grade or something, but had since fallen out of my head by high school for more useful knowledge like basic algebra, computer programming and knowing how to unhook a bra with one hand, through a shirt, without looking. I wonder if any of that will be helpful during the audition.
Oh, and yes, that’s the Empire State Building behind me and Steph. Our friends who we are staying with here, have a lovely view of it from their apartment.

@PhotoKat: I didn’t realize you’d never been here. it’s certainly worth visiting at least once. a lot of the natives love it, but i wouldn’t want to live here.
as for 365, i’m the farthest along in the "original group" along with a couple others. there are a few people who started on their own, before I started the group though and they are already done.
