In case you’re wondering, we actually have central air in our house, but Steph won’t let me use it until I have a job. Actually, once I do, I expect she’ll continue to not let me use it because of something about saving the environment or something. *shrug* Anyway, its damn hot and humid lately, so I do a lot of sitting around the house naked or un my underwear. This was taken after I showered, after Steph and I had gone swimming to cool off a bit. Night swimming is becoming a daily ritual for these days. It’s kinda nice.
Got my truck back today. $650. *sigh* and there’s actually still work I need to do on it, but at least its drivable.
Went in for a meeting with that job that I still don’t actually officially have. Also heard from yet more recruiters. I am way damn popular for someone who can’t get work.
Finally, I came up with an idea for that photography show at the end of the month. Now I just need to get cracking driving around town and taking a LOT of pictures. Should be interesting, and at least I have a car to do it with.
Air conditioning bad. Naked Mav good. You’ve made me totally incoherent…
@Kungfukitten: air conditioning is never bad. But I can’t argue about me being naked. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
i don’t have air conditioning, but all the ceiling fans are on high.
Breeze good, and night swimming is the best.
and naked well it doesn’t get much better than that, does it?
@ms.Tea: actually we do use the ceiling fans all day. I dunno if that’s really better than air conditioning but it certainly helps.
I personally hate AC… the freon gives me headaches. And really anything that gets you naked just can’t be all bad. Lovely photo.
Well, naked if you need to, but I am a A/C devotee – and I don’t care WHO doesn’t like it. After living in Las Vegas for 11 years and now here on the Gulf Coast, A/C is as necessary as heat is for you in the winter!
On the other hand, that is a sharp pic!
Excellent.
Love your use of light and space on this.
@mickeysacks: well, you know… you could just ask… *shrug*
@lrayholly: Yeah, these AC haters are out of their minds.
@gragsie: thank you.
this is a great shot mav – so crisp. mm! sorry to hear the money/job crap is still continuing, fingers crossed something works out for you.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
oh!
nice pose, nice processing, i like this one a lot.
@metró: thank you. And I hope it turns around soon too.
@queentassone: gina! How have you been. You’re never online anymore. We should catch up soon. And thanx.
yeah i could just leave it logged in and not be here but usually nobody messages cuz they know i’m not here so i just save the cycles.. i still check email though! we’re doin alright. it would be nice to catch up.
Hell yeah, it was crazy hot and humid yesterday.
Well I like it’s hot were you are.. Cause this really nice! ;o)
@queentassone: then we totally should. 🙂 Are you taking a vacation from mommying to come out for Jammy Jam this year?
@MegaBee: still is today, but at least it rained, that made it a little better.
@Cirkusprinsesse: teehee… does that mean I’m sexy? Yay!
I can deal with the cold weather, throw me into the heat and I wither. I cannot live without the AC. At least not in the valley… phew!
Whoops, ps. The photo is awesome.
@adayinthelife: yeah, though really the ceiling fans and the nakedness do help. And I can always go take a dip in the pool.
And thank you.
I love AC man. I’ve just gone through your last several shots to catch up and I’m really sorry things have just been so damn awful lately. They have to change for the better soon. They just have to. Hang in there.
Gorgeous photo…really love it.
@sadandbeautiful (Sarah): hopefully it will get better soon. If I get this job, that at least takes a lot of the pressure off. Are you coming down for Jammy Jam? And thanks for the photo comment.
Gorgeous! This would definitely be one of those that I would love to draw one day if I ever got back into that hobby. Definitely one of my faves!
@*boheme*: if you ever do, I’d love to see it. And thank you.
Fantastic!
@*1102: thank you
