Day 351 of 365 days.
So Jammy Jam was a success. I was up til about 6am and drinking til maybe 5:30. Finally went to bed and woke again at 9am.
Then I took care of a few things and suddenly it was time for Capture Pittsburgh, the photography show I was presenting at.
I didn’t sell any prints, so I am still poor. But I was told repeatedly how great my work was. In particular, the train track picture was a huge hit.
Tomorrow I have an appointment to shoot Sarah B for the Tarot deck. She and her husband were nice enough to come up to visit for Jammy Jam and the show. Of course, I still haven’t finished editing the pics of the other Sarah. Or even started on the shots of Rima, which I did the other day. And I have a shoot booked for Monday as well, and one that I am supposed to book this week that I haven’t yet. I also have a job interview Thursday, another as yet unscheduled job interview, my actual birthday on Wednesday, and I need to get a new license, as I just learned that mine is expiring on the 2nd (day after my birthday). And I have to find time to edit all the pics from Jammy Jam (don’t hold your breath, I am notoriously bad at going through and posting party pics in a timely fashion). I thought bums were supposed to have free time. I guess not.
Normally I’d say something witty here, but I am quite totally brain dead after only 3 hours of sleep or so in the past couple days. Maybe tomorrow.
I’m so eagerly anticipating jammy jam pics…but I’ll try not to hold my breath for the next week, at least. When I’m not underwater, at any rate.
Now I have to go through your tarot and other shoots and see which people I’ve actually met now.
Sorry you didn’t sell any, but DAMN that looks impressive!
🙁 bummed that you didn’t sell any prints…..but there is always next time. i wonder sometimes if selling photographs isn’t getting even harder with more and more people having the cameras at their ready. it wouldn’t deter me from buying some b/c i want to support others….but alas, i’m poor too right now so i can’t do it at the moment.
i am also anxiously awaiting these jammy jam photos…curious to see what i missed out on!!! so…don’t be a bum for too long…post ’em already! i’m going on vacation on 3rd and will be without a computer til 7th….so have ’em up by the 8th…k? ;-P

@pi c’s: well, my theory is "who wants to buy a picture of me to hang up?" Self portraits are kidna weird. I dunno. And I doubt I’ll have the pics up by the 8th. I’ll blame it for a while on the fact that I need other people to send me their pics too.
