This has nothing to do with anything I did today. It’s just that I’m nearing the end of this project and this was one of my backup ideas that I had early on and never used and I wanted to get it in before the year was up.
Kind of a laid back day. Got some photos edited. Planned a couple new shoots. Paid my bills. Worried myself sick over not being able to do it next month (or even really get through this month). If this job interview on Thursday doesn’t go well, there’s going to be a lot more of that I suppose.
In the meantime, take a look at the most recent Tarot card, the Two of Cups and give me critique. I’m also beginning to put up other shots of the model from the same shoot.
heh heh
If you run out of days to use up your backup shots, you can always just pass the ideas on to me 🙂
I love love love this! It’s a smile your mama would be proud of and it’s darling. Love it!

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
@lrayholly: they’re really not all that interesting.
@lalalaa Dolce Vita: thank you
Ha, this is so cute. Man, you are really close to the end. For some reason Nico is really excited about it, every once in while he will ask me what day you are on 😉
the expression on your face is great!
@PhotoKat: cool. Tell him, he still needs to teach me how to heely skate too.
@Cap’n Hef: thank you…
I love the facial expression!
Do you think you could maybe flickrmail me the steps you used to make that halo…I’ve have this 365 shot idea that requires a halo and nothing I’ve tried looks as good as yours (my PS skills are quite lacking). pretty please : )
@BlueberryGirl (AnnaRenee): thank you. I’ll post how to do it here so that everyone can see it. Make a circle selection. Save it. Grow the selection out, and load the previous selection subtracting it away. Save that. That’s your base halo. Feather the selection a lot (so that nothing is more than 50% selected) and then fill it with yellow for the glow. Then load the base halo again, feather it just a little and fill it with white. That’s pretty much it.
