Day 356 of 365 days.

Sometimes I don’t know what I should wear for a 365 shot. This is your chance to decide with me. All you have to do is take a handy pair of scissors (kids, make sure you use adult supervision) and cut out each outfit and you can dress me however you want. It’s FUNTASTIC!!!!

This is another idea I had a long time ago and wanted to get in before the year was up. Since I had worn a nice shirt and pants and freshly shaved for my job interview today, I thought today would be a good time to do it.

Incidentally, the interview went well. At least, I hope it did. Here’s to hoping. Though it pays less than I want, it really is the best job I’ve come across in quite a while.

    @PhotoKat: I hope you intend to post the results.

    @♥loveberries: thank you.

    @Sick Little Monkey: yeah, I thought they’d add a little something to it.

    @MegaBee: thanks. I actually wasn’t sure how it’d go over… this is another one of those "I’ll be upset if it doens’t make explore" pics… Awful to say, but less comments faves than I expected, actually.

    @Cap’n Hef: thank you.

    @BlueberryGirl (AnnaRenee): yeah, I wanted to get it in because I do love it so much.

    @Grateful Clem: thank you.

  19. August 3, 2007 at 9:23 am

    OOOh. The end is near. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what happens between now and then. Especially if they’re as interesting as this one!

  20. August 3, 2007 at 9:25 am

    @[AJ]: I still think I’m going to keep going. Just cuz it would be weird not doing so. And if I can go 365 days without missing one, then why not 500? or 1000?

  21. August 3, 2007 at 9:33 am

    LOL. You don’t have to explain to me the feeling that you’re going to keep going. I’m heading for 600 quickly. Which is a beautiful round number, that lands exactly one year to the day from when I joined the 365 project. It may be my swan song…but who knows – I thought about that at 500 too.

  22. August 3, 2007 at 9:40 am

    @[AJ]: yeah. I dunno. Sometimes I think "well, it will be nice to be done with it" other times I think "why stop when you’re on such a roll." I dunno.

  23. August 3, 2007 at 9:44 am

    HA!! Great job on this Mav…it came out awesome. I saw one person do a version of this for Class w/ Daves and was so jealous of the idea!! 🙂

    Love how you did this!

  24. August 3, 2007 at 9:48 am

    @sadandbeautiful (Sarah): ooh… what class with dave assignment? Maybe I could use it.

    Mostly I just took a whole bunch of highkey shots in front of my white backdrop in the same pose. Cut them out, composited them. Copied it as one layer and did my comicbook filtering trick using posterized edges. A little tweaking and redrawing here and there. But that’s the basics.

  25. August 3, 2007 at 2:29 pm

    Nice! I love it!

  26. August 3, 2007 at 2:33 pm

    @Stephen Poff: thanks. Glad you approve.

  27. August 3, 2007 at 10:55 pm

    @mav/re? Well, I’m a goth kid at heart. And I love that jacket. Matrix + football = sexy. Can’t help it.

  28. August 3, 2007 at 10:58 pm

    @Princess Diablo: ah… got it. I also noticed that you didn’t give me pants. (or shoes for that matter) 🙂

  29. August 3, 2007 at 11:15 pm

    chrismaverick: Why, my friend, does a sexy man need pants?

  30. August 3, 2007 at 11:27 pm

    @Princess Diablo: when the great asteroid comes and destroys the planet, you will be among the lucky few who are saved and allowed to live on as my many wives to repopulate the earth.

  31. August 5, 2007 at 11:15 am

    Hahahaha! This is so so so awesome! And I just realized I never made you a contact! Done and done. Oh, congrats on the interview, and congrats on almost being done with 365! Thank you for starting 365 and inspiring us to be creative. I really needed a project like this in my life and I can’t imagine what life would be like without it. You rule, maverick, you rule.

  48. September 20, 2007 at 10:50 am

    Ooooh. I did a paper doll a while ago but it wasn’t anywhere near this intensely wonderful!

  49. September 20, 2007 at 6:51 pm

    @lrayholly: that’s weird. I wonder if it rescanned my account when I was unblocked.

    @Mrs. Rachel K.: cool! where’s yours?

  50. June 25, 2008 at 11:09 am

    Oh my God! This is soooooooo funny. People make fun of how uneventful I dress all the time — I’m going to have to put one of these together for my friends and family. Plus I own some clothes that no one will be seen with me in public — what a GREAT opportunity for those clothes! Hilarious!!!

  51. June 27, 2008 at 1:14 am

    @burningbliss: if you decide to do it let me know. Glad you like it.

  52. February 24, 2009 at 4:25 pm

    soooo cool!
