Before I do anything else, I want to wish a happy birthday to my lovely fiancee, Stephanie. In many ways, 365 only exists because of Stephanie. We went on vacation for her birthday last year and while she was sleeping, I was in a hotel room with nothing to do but surf the internet. That’s when 365 was born. On her birthday. So Happy Birthday, Steph. I love you.
Next I would like to thank everyone who has made 365 a success. I am beside myself looking at all of the comments on my shot 365. As much as you all say I mean to you for starting this project, I have to say you mean the same to me. This is an incredibly difficult process to undergo, and I couldn’t do it without your support.
I especially want to thank everyone who stuffed money in my little Amazon tip jar. I felt silly even doing it, but people kept asking me, and I was astounded that i even made a dime. At ten dollars a pop, only 4990 more people need to donate and I really can be a full-time artist for the next year. As it is, though. Thank you, it does mean a lot. Maybe I’ll even pay a bill this month or something.
I thank everyone who supported me during that first year and I hope you’ll all continue with me during this next one. I mean, we’re starting out unemployed here, instead of it being an in progress development. We already know that I can post a pic every day for a year. But just think, this project could be interrupted by me starving to death on day 466 or something.
Isn’t that exciting.

I am glad that you are starting a second round of 365days. I saw many of your shots from the first year, but I didn’t really follow it, I more or less stumbled on them again and again. Now you are on my contact list and I can really see what you are going to do.

I fell asleep last night before being able to raise a glass to you AND Steph. Happy Birthday dear woman….glad that you inspired Mav to do this project (along with thousands of others!) and I’m SO looking forward to seeing your year 2!
AND Thanks for adding it to 365 MORE, I am still undecided if I will start IMMEDIATELY after 365 Days ends or wait a few weeks, days or months…we shall see.
@Princess Diablo: yeah, that was my feeling. I wanted to have the 365 set just sitting there at 365 photos so I could be like "and there it is" and be done with it. This is totally a fresh start kind of thing.
@Sick Little Monkey: well, the awesome thing would be if I starved to death on the very last day, moments after posting the pic, a testament to my great legend… wouldn’t it?

@[AJ]: well, I figure if someone is going to do it, it might as well be me, right? The crazy thing is unlike last time, I don’t have a whole bunch of back burner ideas to start with (I used almost all of them up last year) and there’s added pressure because right from day 1(well 366) I know the world is watching me. We’ll see how it goes.
@pi c’s: yeah, I may be the only one who’s nuts. *shrug*
