Day 384 of 365 More.

I tried to do this shot back on day 251 of my first 365 days project. I couldn’t make it work out right then. Honestly it’s not totally how I envisioned it this time either.

In any case, there’s an interesting thing about pinball. I can spend the whole day moping around and feeling poor. I can not have a job. I can not get phone calls from the job I want. Hell, I could probably even be about to ship off the war. But 50 for 50 cents and a little talent I can forget every problem in the world for the duration of a multiball.

Sometimes I need that.

    sigh. Addams’ Family has been out of commission for months! It’s getting shopped next Friday. I fly out for a long Forced-Fed Family Fun weekend on Thursday. Bastards.

    "WHO says you CAN’T take it with you???"

    I miss playing pinball, I rarely get the chance to play much anymore. I should get into gear soon with PAPA right around the corner in October.

    I absolutely SUCK at pinball. Couldn’t they make those paddles a little bigger?

    @erikogan: I so miss having my own pinball machine. And Playboy (this one) is actually up there with Twilight Zone in machines I enjoy. Oh well.

    @MegaBee: yep, thanks.

    @lrayholly: yeah. And street legal tool. Well, mostly.

    @navigator23: ooh… maybe I’ll play this year if I have cash. I’ll have to see what’s going on that weekend.

    @Rockin’ Rob: in some games they do, actually. A whole lot goes into pinball machine design.

    I’d like all the hours, and all the quarters, back that I fed into Bally Playboy’s between 1972 and 1982.

    I love me some pinball. I haven’t seen the Playboy machine. Have you been to Games N’At on the Southside (Josephine st I believe)? On Thursdays all day, it’s $8 and you can go and play whatever you want. They have like 9 or 10 pinball machines, and racing games and shooting games, basketball, air hockey, pool. All kinds of stuff. It’s mostly the awesomest.

    yeah, I’ve been there. Not all that big a fan, actually. The machines that were there last time I was there weren’t in the best repair and weren’t my favorite games. But its neat that they’re there.
