Actually had a pretty good job interview today. I’m pretty sure that I have a job there if I want it, which takes a lot of the pressure off for Thursday’s interview. Of course I’ve been wrong before, so I’m not out of the woods yet.
But I do feel good about it.
Of course, given my luck, I’m not going to celebrate just yet. Just because I live on a side street, and I’m currently sitting on the second floor, that doesn’t mean a bus can’t come hurdling out of control through that wall at any moment.
You know, the fact that its never happened before probably means its due.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Nice duds.
@adayinthelife: thank you and thank you.
great idea and great picture!
@carolineskywalker: thank you
You’re still hitting this SPs out of the park! This is a great concept.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you too.
This is great!!
And, great news…hopefully…i’ll be keeping my fingers crossed also!!! You clean up nice Mav!
As for that bus…watch out for the planes!
looking sharp… and those hands would be enough to keep me from leaving the house to job hunt… great discipline.
Love the pic. Happy about the (potentially) good news too! Hi Steph (hiding back there) 🙂 Oh yeah, and not to worry. I’ve sent someone to divert traffic… at least for tonight.
@jwill9311: Get your mind out of the gutter…. again or still, whichever
Hope it works out. Patience is sometimes just as important as skill. Best way to straighten a tie , by the way.
Best of luck to you ~ I hope your persistence pays off. You know the gov’t is always hiring. Check out http://www.cpol.army.mil and click employment. That’s how I got hired. Just a thought.
@Travelinjim: Thanks. This is another one of those ideas I initially had last year and didn’t get to originally.
@jwill9311: Thank you. It’s hopefully great news. I’m trying to not get my hopes up too much about most things. Like I’m supposed to have an interview tomorrow, but things have still not been confirmed yet. *sigh*
@jwill9311: thanks. Sadly, the hands DO leave the house.
@lrayholly: thank you. And the walls to my TV room thank you.
@DeHoll: thanks.
@macaddict: I hope it does too. Thanks.
