Woke up crazy early this morning (well, ok, 8am, but its a fucking Saturday) to take Steph to her parents house so that she can do some kind of charity bike ride. Sixty miles over two days sounds insane until you realize that her father and sister are doing the longer version of the ride, 140 miles over two days. Anyway, as I am not insane, I opted out under the excuse that I have a much saner wrestling show to work tomorrow.
That left me at home with nothing to do, so I texted a bunch of friends to see if anything was going on, and my fellow unemployed bum, Katherine ,agreed to come over, drink beer and watch brain dead tv, taking a break to order chinese food and take this picture.
We are currently on #2 of VH-1’s 100 greatest one-hit wonders of all time. I can’t wait to see who #1 is.
Good One! And WOW you’re early today 😉
Crazy! Was it by chance the MS bike ride? Rj did 100 miles today. And he only started training for it 2 weeks ago. He’s a fucking machine. And I hate that about him.
@lrayholly: thanks… and yeah… just getting it out of the way.
@ambrosialove: nope, its That Dam Ride. and most women would like a… nevermind.
Bwhahahaha! He’s totally not a fucking machine. Just a machine. 😉
Anyhow, the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride for NC was this weekend. I’m a little partial to that group since I spent 40 hours doing community service with them. :S
@ambrosialove: yeah, I think there’s an MS ride here this weekend too. But they’re doing the trail restoration one.
hahaha, yeah, i spent the majority of my day watching the countdown, i stopped around twenty. did you catch who number one was?
god, for some reason i can’t stop watching VH1 countdowns, VH1 80s specials, and America’s Next Top Model

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
@The Tidal Rabbit: #1 was the Macarena. *sigh*
I get sucked into those shows too!!! Arrrgggggghhhhhhh!!! Great shot btw!!
@pkathleen: thanks. I probably could have passed it up, but my friend was really into it.
good for steph…why didn’t you get your lazy bum off the couch and participate?! ;-p
@pi c’s: well, for one I had a wrestling show. two I wasn’t really all that interested in it. And three, I think the best way of maintaining the sanctity of the bike trail (which is what the ride is for) is for no one to actually ride on it. 🙂
