I already know Steph is going to hate this picture but I really like it, so oh well.
Anyway, a couple years ago, my friend Mike got into Lomography. Basically some Russian guys invented a really crappy camera with bad optics and instead of throwing the thing out, they put some marketing genius behind it and sold it as artsy. It became a minor phenomenon with its own life philosophy. The digital age has pretty much killed whatever minor amount of market niche the Lomo had, I think, but the concept still has some enthusiasts out there, and I kind of find the whole thing interesting, so I decided to try my hand at the philosophy and then fake the poor optics in photoshop after the fact. And here you have it.
In other news, in case you didn’t see me mention it on yesterday’s shot I made an interesting blog post last night. It’s all about sex. What could be more interesting than that? I’d love everyone’s feedback there.
its because of that great smile…… its worth being in the doghouse for it
