Today is the fourth anniversary of the worst day of my life. I still miss you, ‘Lonzo.
So it’s not a good day to start. But then it gets even worse. Got up early this morning to take my car in to get its annual emissions test. It goes smoothly. Takes 5 minutes, goes perfectly. I give a silent cheer because I NEVER pass emissions without owing any money. So I leave the garage and drive maybe a mile before smoke starts pouring out of my hood. So I turn around and drive back to the garage and when I get there, I’m basically driving in a cloud. They take a look and decide that I probably blew a gasket. Something they can’t fix at that particular garage, so I coast another mile in neutral to another garage (luckily it was downhill) and turn my car over to them. So that’s probably another gazillion dollars down the drain.
On a good note, I did get some photos edited (go check out the Leann set and let me know what you thing) for my nude project for my next photography show. And, Steph and I did finish our christmas shopping at long last. Now I just have a bunch of wrapping to do. But that can wait. Time to do my annual memorial shot and go to bed.
Very lovely tree, and a poignant way of honoring a missed soul.
A.T. was a good man. He taught those he touched a lot, particularly about the role of fatherhood, and the importance of family.
that’s so lame…..about your truck. i just blew a gasket on my vw and it did cost me a trazillion dollars…but as you know, it had to be fixed.
i’m sorry for your loss….but remembering is always such a good thing, even if it hurts a bit, all we get are our memories.
Hey! You did a good job with the tree 😉
Yep, it was a tough day for the home team. @DeHoll: Thank you for a nice rememberance too.
Hope it only costs a half a gazillion, cause a whole gazillion is really hard to come up with.
