I had this really great idea for the 365 Podcast. I wanted to do a tutorial on creating well toned black and white pictures. Easy enough to do, film myself taking today’s self portrait, while narrating, then just use some screen recording software to record myself processing it in photoshop. Easy huh?
Why is nothing ever easy?
My screen capture software kees crashing. Eventually I gave up and decided I’d do it tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll have time, because tomorrow I have to go set up for the gallery show, and I still have only matted half the prints. On the other hand, its almost 4am. I give up (for now).
I’m going to bed.
Man. It sounds like you could use a vacation……………………Seriously.
Don’t over-extend yourself.

This reminds me of one of those "hanging over the fireplace" portraits.
Too bad about your software – you know I feel your pain.

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
Hope it works out… I’d love to see this myself.
Excellent portrait by the way.
Even folks who don’t sleep must make time to rest. Get done what you want and need too, but stay healthy.
Looking forward to the podcast on B&W.
@Rockin’ Rob: the sad thing is, I just had a vacation in December, so it’ll be a while.
@lrayholly: Yeah, I guess it kinda does. Hmmm…
@Stephen Poff: I downloaded some other packages that might help last night, but I haven’t had a chance to try them yet. Hopefully tonight. And thanks.
@DeHoll: well, there will be a podcast one way or the other. It’s a matter of whether I can get this particular tutorial working or not is the question.
The first podcast was great. I am looking forward to the next one. It was really useful for someone like myself who is just learning, well sort of just learning. Trying to improve.
