My weekly poker game had been on hiatus since Christmas. Today we started back up.
In some ways I almost wish we hadn’t. I wasn’t doing great, but i had ace/nine with an ace on the board and decided to go all in. Everyone folded except one person. Steph of all people. She called. And what did she have? Pocket kings, with a king on the board. Ugh! That’s right. My own fiancee busted me out. Where’s the love.
Actually, she played great. She ened up coming in second. Good for her.
Maybe next week will be my week.
I miss poker! It’s good times, even though I totally suck.
And that’s quite hilarious that Steph won the hand. 🙂
Ah well. Better luck next time 🙂 Congrats to Steph though.
