It was one of those days.
Woke up this morning to see the ground completely covered with snow. Decided that it was probably a good idea to leave for work early, just in case.
I didn’t get very far. Apparently in the wee hours of the morning, they tried to salt the roads, only to have it melt and freeze over with ice. It was so bad that they couldn’t get salt trucks back up the hill to resalt. Of course I didn’t know any of that this morning.
So after spending 45 minutes trying to get my truck back on the road after sliding off and into a small ditch (narrowly missing a telephone pole, which knocked my passenger side mirror clean off) I finally decided to just go back home and work from there.
This also meant that the roads were so bad that I had to cancel the model that I was going to shoot for the Tarot tonight. Hopefully we should be able to reschedule for next week.
So with nothing to do all night, and since I need to buy a new rear view mirror, I decided that it might be a good day to turn to a life of crime.
Steph apparently had other ideas.
The geek in me really LOVES this!
Love it Mav. Glad to hear you are ok after your storm troubles, but I’m greedily thinking how lucky for us because we got this lovely distraction to look at because of it all….
Y’all are WILD! This is Fantastic! (Sorry about the truck though – but glad you’re ok!)
Nice!
This is hella cool! Sorry about the weather, the roads, and the truck.. but like [AJ] already said, I’m also selfishly glad becuase it meant you had more time to make this.. But really… I’m very glad you’re okay (and that it was only something minor like the mirror that got damaged)
Ha, great comic page.

I enjoy this thoroughly.
Nice capture. But for the record, I warned you *before* I blasted!!
Heh. I got stuck in the snow at work. Took a bunch of people to get me out. They won’t let me bring my work home.
Nice!
Very nice. I like this a lot.
Um.. yes this is awesome!
@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: yeah… it was pretty geeky. I do that every once in a while.
@[AJ]: actually, in real life I worked form home all day. I just did this that night.

@MegaBee: thanx.
@DeHoll: thank you.
@Stephen Poff: yeah, I thought you might appreciate it too. Hopefully I’ll have time tonight to put together a really brief special effect tutorial for the podcast.
please do! I’ve been a wee bit busy this week and might not have much.
@Stephen Poff: same here. And I don’t have a lot of time tonight either. I’ll try to fit it in.
