I’ve wanted to learn to brew my own beer for a long time. I don’t know why. I’m perfectly capable of picking up a case at the distributor. But something about the process just always seemed cool.
My mother bought me a kit for Christmas, but I never got around to using it. At least no til today. Steph and I spent the day doing some early spring cleaning (the studio is now in much better shape than its been in in months) and after that decided to crack open the kit and give it a shot.
Looking through or kitchen to see what we had to add to the beer, we decided to brew kind of a canadian maple blend. I can’t wait to try it.
In like 4 weeks, we’re gonna get FUCKED UP!!!!
LMAO- definitely something to look forward 2…….a canadian maple blend sounds good.

(yeah, Lynn – somehow it’s always the fault of the parents, especially the mothers……)
Home brew is always something I’ve wanted to try too. When I’ve had the room, I’ve not had the time (and/or a not too thrilled spouse). Now I don’t drink beer anymore. :o(
@disco~stu: yeah… there was a bit of following directions and a bit of winging it. I can’t wait to see how it turned out.
@lrayholly: thanks. and thanks for buying it again.
@Babs1696: yep… totally her fault. Absolutely. I take no blame.
@Sick Little Monkey: well, you could always brew some and give it to me…
You’ll have to let us know how it taste. I bought a similar kit for my brother a few years ago, but never heard if he used it.
@DeHoll: yeah, I’m sure in a month I’ll use it for a picture.
hahahaha tell us how the beer turns out….
@espressoDOM: I will. I’m sure it’ll be a picture when its done.
