Day 596 of 365 More.

Beer, the only carbs I need.

So today was the day. After 5 weeks of processing, Steph and I invited friends over to try a nice refreshing batch of "Lonzo Maverick’s Good Ol’ Fashioned Canadian Maple Lager." Just like Grampa used to make. Unfortunately, as far as I know, my grandfather never actually made his own beer. But I like to think that if he did, it would have tasted just like this.

The beer was actually a big success. All of our friends seemed to really enjoy it. And it was qute tasty if I do say so myself. I didn’t get a single comic page done today, but really, I don’t even mind. Frankly I needed the break.

Tomorrow is the Hellcats shoot. The photographic part of the comic project. I’m really looking forward to it. Should be hella fun.

I’m just glad the whole thing is coming together.

That beer was really pretty awesome. You should make some more. Maybe once we’re done with this crazy death-defying comic book project.

    Must…sleep

‘Lonzo is proud… I’m sure of it! I’m not sure if he ever made beer. I know his brother did (Lonzo told me about it), which leads me to believe that it wouldn’t be far fetched for him to have participated! At the very least, I know he DRANK it 😀 Glad you took a break for such a fine cause!

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
