"Once upon a time there were four beautiful little girls. All three enrolled in the Academy for Science Soldiers and graduated to join the Transuniversal Interstellar Tranquilty Squadron and were given very hazardous duties as part of the elite Science Ninja Action Team: Cosmic Hellcats unit. But I took them away from all of that, and now they work for me. My name is Maverick. These are my Hellcats."
So, no comic pages drawn again today. Instead, I spent the entire day at a photoshoot for the comic cover. 798 pictures later and I realize I still have a lot to do.
That said, the girls were great, as always. I had a lot of fun, and we got a lot of good stuff. I can’t wait til I get to go through the pics more carefully and add them to the book. For now, here I am with my Hellcats, as well as my two "Bosleys", Max (my comic book artist) and Kevin (my makeup artist). Thank you to them as well as the girls (Liz, Chaste, Amaya and Sarah) for all their hard work today.
That was the good thing. Now for the bad. My car sputtered out on the way home. I had dropped off Chaste, and so it was just Amaya (who’s staying with me this weekend) and me. I was noticing that the power seemed a little low on it. My radio stopped working right. Then the lights. Then the turn signals. I tried to make it all the way home, shutting off anything in the car that might take up electricity and kaput… the car died 3.5 miles from my house.
Called Steph and she was nice enough to drive out and let me jump the battery off her car. I let it charge up for a while and was able to get it home. But now that something else I have to pay for (probably a new alternator). I told you my life wasn’t allowed to go well.
BOO.
But… we are your hellcats.
Can’t we just, you know, go into the car shop in our uniforms and steal your car back for free?
@spresogna: well, maybe after its fixed. I actually just drove it home, not to the shop, so its in my garage right now.
mmm Amaya *drool*
Look at you in all your glory. 😉
It’s a good thing you have such a wonderful partner! Here’s to hoping your car problem isn’t too very serious.

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
You totally look like the pimp daddy. In fact, I clicked on the thumbnail for this shot specifically to come and comment about that. 😛
great shot sorry to hear about the car…….you did predict it….it never rains…it pours!!
Looks like the sexy family portrait or something! Sorry about your car! it’s always something, right……
@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: heh… I’ll let her know you approve.
@lrayholly: Yeah, I’m really thankful she came to help. I didn’t even get around to calling the mechanic yet. I don’t really have the money or time for it till all this comic stuff is done.
@MegaBee: actually, its a little less than I planned to take.
@the brownhorse: Someone has to do it.
@jessi.: heh, in the another version of the shot, they were shooting at me. Kinda has a different appeal.
@disco~stu: yep. I know when the world is going to well its going to spontaeneously correct against me.
@sassyshannon999: thanks and thanks.
@pinkgypsysoul: thanks and thanks to you as well.
get out of my chair! haha!
@johnnytreehouse: how do you know I didn’t bring it with me?
