One of the nice things about the 365 project when I started was that it gave me time to practice a photoshop technique here or there that I had been wanting to play with. Over time, I kind of got away from that. In fact, I don’t even remember the last time I did some random photoshop trickery on a 365 shot just to see what it looked like.
But episode 5 of Cosmic Hellcats is going to require BUBBLES!!!! Exciting isn’t it? Max and I are trying to decide whether he should draw the bubbles or whether I should photoshop them in later when I’m coloring, so I had to create a photoshop bubble effect so he might see what it looked like. And since I didn’t really have an idea for tonight, why not just use it here.
So what do you all think? Is it cool? Is it all magical and brings you back to a simpler time in your childhood? Or should we just draw them and be done with it?
Oh, and we posted episode 3 of of the comic last night. So if you haven’t checked that out yet, you totally should. And all the episodes before it. I’d love to hear what you all think.
