Day 729 of 365 More.
Another year, another Jammy Jam. And a good time was had by all.
So I was actually kinda worried that Jammy Jam would be a failure this year. I had to move my planned date like twice. I had several friends who couldn’t make it. I had one of the bands cancel with only 24 hours notice. I was too busy to plan it as properly as I normally like.
On the other hand, I had a stripper pole.
It actually went really well. After one band cancelled Friday afternoon, I was able to find a replacement at 2:30am on Saturday. 16.5 hours before the party started. And they were even good. Woohoo! People enjoyed it. Everyone had fun. Prizes were won. Drunkeness was had.
And the stripper pole was a huge hit. I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these ages ago. Everyone needs a stripper pole in their house.
And in closing. I just want to say big ups to Bernie Mac!

@SaylaMarz: I believe the ceiling is just over 8 feet. It just looks lower in the shot. Not the highest I’ve ever seen, but seeing as how I don’t actually know what I’m doing, it’s fine. The real problem is that I don’t have the pole mounted where there’s enough space to really swing around without hitting other stuff (or people in a party situation). But yeah, once you get your own place I’ll be happy to pass on ordering information.

Sorry. We didn’t have a sitter for Parker. And Doug had to work on Sunday at 5:45, so I would’ve had to be home by then and sober enough to make it home……..probably wouldn’t have happened.
