It’s been a long time since I’ve done a flickr challenge. At least not one that Stephen or I didn’t come up with for the podcast. But then Brigid came up with this idea to do a Marionette Militia and I had to join in.
It was a little tricky getting myself strung up in the studio, and I kinda had trouble with my right leg, but I guess it worked out ok.
This is awesome!
@xelia.: thanks. yours was cool too. 🙂
Ouch. Your leg brokeded off.
@tdoxie: yeah… luckily I had scotch tape to fix it with.
OMG
you rock
the best marionette yet!
Whoa. Very.
@Crystal Chroma: I dunno. I think there were a lot of nice ones out there. But thanks.
@elisabethspace: thanks
This is so cool; I love how your leg broked off (heh). Really makes it seem like you’re a real marionette!

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
lol I love it.
Now I don’t have a lot of experience with this but…..is it just me, or does your stump look like a …..? ….no?
I’m really glad you joined the challenge. I was hoping for some you-action!
Would it be weird for me to call you kinky? I think it would be, so I won’t and just leave this awkward question asking about it instead, along with this sentence explaining it.
Ha!! Wonderfully freaky. 🙂
Really scary! Reminds me of this movie I watched not too long ago about Japenese people on antidepressants. The one guy was really into being tied up into different hanging positions. Creepy! Not that I wouldn’t try it……
That came out awesome! I love the idea of the leg falling off. Great job!
I just spit coffee through my nose at work. Thanks alot!
I really dig the chains and of course the broken leg.
@ninjanun: that was the hope. They’ve always seemed so fragile to me. I’ve seen plenty of broken ones, so that was really the first thing I thought of.
@SaylaMarz: hehehe….I assume you mean something naughty, but looking at the pic I just don’t see it. Anyway, it was your idea, so i’m glad you like it.
@Jack Scoresby: heh. I don’t know if it’s weird. I think my kinkiness probably speaks for itself at this point.
@sadandbeautiful (Sarah): thanks. I’m glad so many people like it.
@sassyshannon999: well, I know people if you really care…
@viva la vibs: thanks. I was afraid it was too silly.
@lrayholly: sorry about that.
@62uolegnaiam: thanks.
Pour some Tussin on it. You’ll be ok
Hahahah!
Dude. Just. Damn. This is awesome. I’m so glad you joined in!
Hang in there, Mav!
Your eyes in this are just brilliant!
@Mikey aka DaSkinnyBlackMan: that may be the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.
@like_shipwrecks: thank you. It was fun to do.
@beststephi: har de har har har har
@Riabear: thanks. I’m glad someone noticed that. I thought it was subtle but really added something.
@beststephi: har har har.
Youchie!
@Calypso5BG*: honestly, I barely felt a thing. 😉
well done !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn, so great Chris!
@yeoldeblackhippie: thanks.
@Era_Trendy: glad you like it.
Sick, raw, and all around wonderful!
@lamaena1: thank you. Glad you like it.
@Shattered Soul: yeah, I guess one chain held better than the other. 🙂
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called The Things You Do For Art, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
cool!
@Ditch the Kitsch!!: added it. Thank you.
Don’t worry about the leg. Just take two aspirins and call me in the morning. 😉
Great pic, excellent concept and very good execution.
@ParaScubaSailor: it’s already better. Thanks!
more awesome inspiration to get my butt in gear and militia up!
Dang, this is excellent and must have taken a lot of work. Worth every minute.
@The Flooz: good.I think that’s the point. 🙂
@twnklmoon: thanks. Glad you like it.
nice take on the challenge!
@matt duke: thank you
