Day 758 of 365 Again.

It’s that time again. That time when the days get a little brighter. That time when the world gives us just a little glimmer to hope for. A reason to get up every morning. A reason to carry on.

It’s football season.

The Steelers won today. They are now 1-0. Only 15 games away from a perfect season. It’s as though there’s actually hope in the universe.

I wonder what will happen tomorrow to crush my spirits.

Oh well.

365 days

Vikings are going all the way this year!

Funny thing is….. I say that every year.

    But this is the year!

    I swear.

Vikings-Packers, tonight, Monday Night Football, no Favre — weird.

It’ll still be fun; rivalry games always are!

I hear you; this is the time of year when life has structure. The Falcons started off 1-0 as well. We’re doing better than half the teams in the NFL.

And now, having been a Falcons fan for 36 years, I sit back and wait for it all to collapse. The usual MO: Lose enough games to be sure we’re out of the playoffs, then win enough games to ruin our draft picks.

Yeah, doesn’t it suck to get caught in that middle ground?

I am in the same boat…football season makes my world wonderful 😀 (Even tho Miami won its first game, they played SO much better that game than they did all last year)

@Rockin’ Rob: Eh you never know… Any Given Sunday…

    @socatevoli: yup! Here we go!

@-raggle-: really, do you call it football?

@lrayholly: yep. Had a great day yesterday too.

@phlewght: Yeah, it just feels wrong somehow. He even said it.

@madmolecule: yep. Top of the league. Woohoo! I’ll never forget when the Houston Texans won their very first game (against Dallas) and were, for one week, the only franchise undefeated team in the NFL.

With Brady out for the year and with Indy and San Diego starting the season with stinkers, the Steelers could be in a damn good position in the AFC.

@khaughwout: yeah… amazing how quickly things change. Which also means, don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
