You know, you’d think that day 777 would be lucky. Not so much. Oh well.
Today was the first presidential debate for this election. The presidential debates are like my favorite time of year. Sure, you don’t really learn anything interesting because if you’re paying attention you pretty much already know how either candidate will reply to either question, but that’s fine. The thing is, it sure is fun!
Me and my friends always play "presidential debate bingo." If you haven’t played before, you totally should. It’s simple, you print out a random bingo card and everytime a candidate mentions one of the terms on your card, you mark it off. First person to get five in a row wins! It’s great fun.
What I don’t get is how neither candidate could mention their wife in the whole two hours or whatever it was and more importantly, how do two people talk, for 35 minutes straight, about the current American financial crisis and the proposed 700 billion dollar relief plan and not one of them EVER used the term "bailout"! Not once!
Bastards!
Hey! Why didn’t you tell me about this Bingo thing BEFORE the debate? That would’ve been great fun – I’m going to be ready for the next one!
Haha! This is great!
I dunno… the debate drinking game a friend of mine sent out was fun too. The best part being the bonus round rules…
Finish the Bottle If:
Anyone challenges anyone to a duel
Anyone breaks into song
The moderator rips off his mask to reveal his true identity is Karl Rove
If Obama says, "If my opponent were here…"
Why didn’t my comment go through last night???
I should have played this too. It would have taken away from the sting of watching the post coverage. Well there’s always October 2nd!
@lrayholly: I totally did. You’re just forgetful. 🙂
@ambrosialove: so did you ever play?
@mickeysacks: they’re not mutually exclusive. 🙂
@Just Say K.B.: yep. Hope you got a chance to try it on the later debates.
